Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high-quality emulsion fuel that allows an emulsion to be stabilized even when a surfactant is used in a small amount and has high stability at a high temperature (40 to 60°C).SOLUTION: The emulsion fuel is a water-in-oil type (W/O) of emulsion fuel containing a fuel oil containing at least one kind selected from a light oil, a vegetable oil and an animal oil, water and a surfactant. The emulsion fuel contains a carboxymethyl cellulose salt and/or a poly(meth)acrylic acid salt and has an average particle size of water phase particles of 0.1 to 1 μm.SELECTED DRAWING: None 【課題】界面活性剤の使用量が少なくてもエマルションが安定し、さらに高温（４０〜６０℃）での安定性も高い高品質なエマルション燃料を提供する。【解決手段】軽質油、植物油、動物油から選ばれる少なくとも１種を含有する燃料油、水、および界面活性剤を含有する油中水型（Ｗ／Ｏ）のエマルション燃料であって、カルボキシメチルセルロース塩および／またはポリ（メタ）アクリル酸塩を含有し、水相粒子の平均粒径が０．１〜１μｍであることを特徴としている。【選択図】なし
