Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air tool removing foreign matter contained in compressed air supplied to an air motor.SOLUTION: An air swirling member 40 with a spiral groove is disposed in an air supply passage 34 provided in a tool body 14 for storing an air motor 12. The air swirling member 40 swirls passing compressed air so as to generate a swirling flow. A cylindrical wall 42 which is disposed inside an inner peripheral surface 34a of the air supply passage 34 at a position on a downstream side of the air swirling member 40 in the air supply passage 34 so as to form a cylindrical dust collection space 44 between the cylindrical wall and the inner peripheral surface 34a is disposed so that an upstream side end section 44a of the dust collection space 44 is opened and a downstream side end section 44b is closed. A dust discharge passage 52 is provided to extend from an inlet opening section 52a opened in the dust collection space 44 up to an outlet opening section 52e communicated with the outside of the tool body 14 so that foreign matter collected in a dust collection space 52 can be discharged to the outside.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 【課題】エアモータに供給される圧縮空気内に含まれる異物を除去するようにしたエア工具を提供する。【解決手段】エアモータ12を収容する工具本体14に設けられた空気供給路34内に、螺旋状の溝を有する空気旋回部材40を配置する。この空気旋回部材40は通過する圧縮空気を旋回させて旋回流を生じさせる。空気供給路34内における空気旋回部材40よりも下流側の位置に、該空気供給路34の内周面34aより内側に配置され、内周面34aとの間に筒状の集塵空間44を形成するようにされた筒状壁42を、集塵空間44の上流側端部44aが開口し下流側端部44bが閉口するようにするように配置する。また、集塵空間44に開口する入口開口部52aから工具本体14の外部に連通する出口開口部52eにまで延びる塵排出路52を設け、集塵空間52内に集められた異物を外部に排出できるようにする。【選択図】図1
