Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotation angle detection system capable of detecting a rotation angle of a revolving shaft even if a magnetic detector fails, and a power steering system.SOLUTION: A rotation angle detection system includes: a first magnetic detector that is disposed on a revolving shaft and detects a change in the magnitude or direction of a magnetic field; a second magnetic detector that is disposed on the revolving shaft and located at a position offset in the direction of the revolving shaft with respect to the first magnetic detector, and detects a change in the magnitude or direction of a magnetic field; and a magnet that is disposed outside the first magnetic detector and second magnetic detector in a radial direction with respect to the revolving shaft, has north and south poles opposed to each other with the revolving shaft as a center, and can rotate relatively to the first magnetic detector and second magnetic detector. Based on the output signals of the first magnetic detector and second magnetic detector, the rotation angle of the magnet with respect to the first magnetic detector and second magnetic detector is detected.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 【課題】 磁気検出部が失陥したとしても回転軸の回転角を検出することができる回転角検出装置およびパワーステアリング装置を提供すること。【解決手段】 回転軸上に設けられ、磁界の大きさまたは方向の変化を検出する第一磁気検出部と、回転軸上に設けられ、第一磁気検出部とは回転軸方向にオフセットした位置に配置され、磁界の大きさまたは方向の変化を検出する第二磁気検出部と、回転軸に対する径方向において第一磁気検出部および第二磁気検出部よりも外側に設けられ、回転軸を中心としてN極とS極とが互いに対向するように配置されると共に、第一磁気検出部および第二磁気検出部と相対回転可能に設けられたマグネットと、を備え、第一磁気検出部および第二磁気検出部の出力信号に基づき第一磁気検出部および第二磁気検出部に対するマグネットの回転角を検出するようにした。【選択図】 図3
