Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for stably producing a water-absorbing resin at high productivity and at a low cost, the water-absorbing resin having a high water content, excellent resistance to damage, a good balance of a water-absorbing capacity under non-pressure and that under pressure, and improved safety.SOLUTION: A production method of a polyacrylic acid (acrylate)-based water-absorbing resin having a surface crosslinking step includes a) a mixing step for adding a surface crosslinking agent solution containing a pyrolytic radical polymerization initiator to a water-absorbing resin powder followed by mixing, and b) a reaction step for heating and subjecting a water-absorbing resin mixture obtained in the mixing step to a surface crosslinking reaction. In the reaction step, a dew point in an internal atmosphere of a reactor is set 60-95°C and a surface temperature of an internal wall is set the atmospheric dew point or higher and 250°C or lower, while a powder temperature of the water-absorbing resin mixture is set 70-130°C by heating.SELECTED DRAWING: None 【課題】含水率が高く、耐ダメージ性に優れ、無加圧下吸水倍率と加圧下吸水倍率のバランスが良く、安全性の改善した吸水性樹脂を、高生産性で、かつ低コストで安定的に製造する方法を提供することを目的とする。【解決手段】表面架橋工程を含む、ポリアクリル酸(塩)系吸水性樹脂の製造方法であって、a)熱分解性ラジカル重合開始剤を含む表面架橋剤溶液を、吸水性樹脂粉末に添加し、混合する混合工程、及び、b)上記混合工程で得られる吸水性樹脂混合物を加熱して、表面架橋反応を行う反応工程とを有し、上記反応工程において使用する反応装置の内部雰囲気露点を60〜95℃、及び内壁面温度を雰囲気露点以上250℃以下とし、かつ、上記吸水性樹脂混合物を加熱処理して粉温を70〜130℃とすることを特徴とする、ポリアクリル酸(塩)系吸水性樹脂の製造方法。【選択図】なし
