PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide high refractive index low dispersion fluorophosphate-based glass having excellent thermal stability, homogeneity, and acid resistance.SOLUTION: The glass comprises: as cationic components, at least P, Al, Ba, and R(Ris at least one selected from the group consisting of Mg, Ca, Sr, and Zn); and as anionic components, at least Oand F. Regarding cationic component ratios, a molar ratio of a content of Alrelative to a total content of Aland P, Al/(Al+P), is in a range of 0.56 to 0.75, a molar ratio of a content of Alrelative to a total content of Baand R, Al/(Ba+R), is 0.58 or more, a molar ratio of a total content of Baand Srrelative to a total content of Baand R, (Ba+Sr)/(Ba+R), is 0.60 or more, and a molar ratio of a total content of Li, Na, and Krelative to a total content of Aland P, (Li+Na+K)/(P+Al), is less than 0.39.
