Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To implement power supply control so as to stably operate a server virtualization system, while reducing power consumption.SOLUTION: A power supply control apparatus 4 includes: a power supply state management section 52 which stores power supply state of physical servers 10, such as primary-on state, secondary-standby state, or secondary-off state, as a power supply state; and a power supply state control section 53 which calculates the amount of active resources, in accordance with load of a virtual machine 20 running on an active physical server 10, calculates the amount of standby resources obtained by excluding the amount of active resources from the overall scale of the physical servers 10, and updates the power supply state of the physical servers 10, in accordance with the scale of the power supply state.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 【課題】消費電力を削減しつつ、サーバ仮想化システムを安定させて運用するような電源制御を実施すること。【解決手段】電源制御装置4は、現用オン状態、予備待機状態、予備オフ状態のいずれかの電源状態として、各物理サーバ10の電源状態が記憶される電源状態管理部52と、現用状態の物理サーバ10上で動作する仮想マシン20の負荷量に応じて現用状態のリソース量を計算し、物理サーバ10全体の規模から、計算した現用状態のリソース量を除いた予備状態のリソース量を計算し、その計算した各電源状態の規模に応じて、各物理サーバ10の電源状態を更新する電源状態制御部53と、を備える。【選択図】図1
