Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device that achieves both a reduction in frame width and suppression in a reduction in display quality.SOLUTION: There is provided a display device including a light source part that has a light emitting area and emits light from the light emitting area, a display panel part that has a display area and controls transmission of light emitted from the light source part to display images in the display area, and a housing part that surrounds an area including the display area in plan view and stores the light source part, where a scattering property on the periphery of the display area is higher than the scattering property at the center of the display area in plan view.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 【課題】狭額縁化と表示品質の低下抑制を両立させる、表示装置の提供。【解決手段】発光領域を有し、前記発光領域から光を出射する光源部と、表示領域を有し、前記光源部が出射する光の透過を制御することにより、前記表示領域にて画像表示を行う表示パネル部と、平面視して前記表示領域を含む領域を囲うとともに、前記光源部を収納する、筐体部と、を備え、平面視して前記表示領域の周縁における散乱性が、前記表示領域の中心の散乱性より高い、ことを特徴とする、表示装置。【選択図】図２
