CARTRIDGE AND IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS USING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cartridge capable of performing mutual positioning of a storage medium and an image forming apparatus body, for stable electrical connection between the storage medium and the image forming apparatus body, without providing a special space and to provide an image forming apparatus using the cartridge.SOLUTION: The cartridge includes a first unit including a first bearing part supporting an image carrier, a second unit including a second bearing part supporting a developer carrier, and the storage medium including an electrical contact and can be inserted into the apparatus body of the image forming apparatus. In the rotation axis direction of the image carrier, the second bearing part is provided inside the first bearing part. The storage medium is supported by the second unit and at least a part of the storage medium is provided in a position more on the outer side than the second bearing part and more on the inner side than the outermost shape of the first unit, in the rotation axis direction.
