CLASSIFICATION FACILITY AND CLASSIFICATION METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a classification facility and a classification method capable of properly classifying an article being a shrink packaged article with a mount.SOLUTION: A classification facility 1 includes conveyance means 2 for conveying an article A, and classification means 3 for classifying the article A while conveying the same. The classification facility 1 includes height information obtaining means for obtaining height information of the article A, and image information obtaining means for obtaining image information by photographing the article A from the opposite side to light irradiation means side.
