AIR COMPRESSOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To actualize the waterproofness of an air compressor.SOLUTION: The air compressor includes a compressor body for compressing air, a motor for driving the compressor body, an electrical box storing electrical components, a heat exchanger for cooling compressed air discharged from the compressor body and lubricating oil, a cooling fan for blowing the cooled air to the heat exchanger, a casing covering the compressor body, the motor, the electrical box, the heat exchanger, and the cooling fan, and having an opening communicated with outside air, and a waterproof structure provided outside the casing for covering at least the surface having the opening of the casing, the casing including a first opening provided in the side face of the casing in communication with the outside air for trapping the outside air, and a second opening and a third opening provided in the side face and in the upper face in communication with the outside air for discharging air passing through the heat exchanger to the outside air, respectively, the waterproof structure having a suction port and exhaust ports in the face covering the first opening and in the faces covering the second and third openings, respectively, the exhaust ports each having a side face and an upper face outside projection planes above the second opening and the third opening, respectively.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 【課題】空気圧縮機の防水を図る。【解決手段】空気を圧縮する圧縮機本体と、圧縮機本体を駆動するモータと、電気部品を収納する電気箱と、圧縮機本体から吐出された圧縮空気と潤滑油を冷却する熱交換器と、熱交換器へ冷却空気を送風する冷却ファンと、圧縮機本体、モータ、電気箱、熱交換器及び冷却ファンを覆い、外気と連通する開口部を有する筐体と、筐体の外部に設けられ、少なくとも筐体の開口部を有する面を覆う防水構造とを備える圧縮において、筐体は、外気と連通して外気を取り込む第一の開口部を筐体の側面に備え、外気と連通して熱交換器を通過した空気を外気へ排出する第二の開口部側面と第三の開口部上面に備え、防水構造は、第一の開口部を覆う面及び第二、第三の開口部を覆う面に夫々吸気口及び排気口を有し、排気口側面と上面は、第二開口部と第三の開口部の上方投影面外に設ける。【選択図】図２
