BOOK RETURN DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique for suppressing such a situation in which, objects other than books belonging to a lending facility, such as books belonging to other facility or garbage, are put into a return port.SOLUTION: A book return device 100 comprises: a partition 24 on which a return port 24h is formed; and a block mechanism part 110 comprising a lid part 112 disposed so as to cover the return port 24h so as to open and close the return port freely, and a lock part 116 capable of locking the lid part 112 and releasing lock in a state that the lid part 112 is closed, and switching the lock state and lock release state based on a lock release signal.
