Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a method and a device which can perform discrimination of a tumor site more accurately than before, while taking into consideration influences exerted on the intensity of fluorescent light emitted from porphyrins due to a presence of a coloring agent for identification.SOLUTION: A method according to one embodiment of the present invention irradiates a specimen with light of a first wavelength included in a wavelength region overlapped with absorption spectrum of a coloring agent from among spectra of fluorescent light emitted by porphyrins after excitation, and includes: a step (a) of acquiring first image information showing an intensity distribution of light reflected by the specimen; a step (b) of exciting porphyrins by irradiating the specimen with excitation light; a step (c) of acquiring second image information showing the intensity distribution of a wavelength component of the first wavelength or the vicinity thereof from among fluorescent light emitted from porphyrins; a step (d) of generating third image information by standardization processing of the second image information on the basis of the first image information; and a step(e) of performing identification of a tumor site and a non-tumor site on the basis of the third image information.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4 【課題】同定用の色素が存在することによって、ポルフィリン類から発せられる蛍光の強度に対する影響を考慮しながら、従来よりも腫瘍部位の判別を正確に行うことのできる方法及び装置を実現する。【解決手段】 本発明の方法は、励起後のポルフィリン類が発する蛍光のスペクトルのうち、色素の吸収スペクトルと重複する波長域に含まれる第一波長の光を検体に照射し、検体で反射した光の強度分布を示す第一画像情報を取得する工程(a)と、励起光を検体に照射してポルフィリン類を励起する工程(b)と、ポルフィリン類から発せられる蛍光のうち、第一波長又はその近傍の波長成分の強度分布を示す第二画像情報を取得する工程(c)と、第一画像情報に基づいて第二画像情報を規格化処理して第三画像情報を生成する工程(d)と、第三画像情報に基づいて腫瘍部位と非腫瘍部位の判別を行う工程(e)とを有する。【選択図】 図4
