Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multilayer coating film formation method capable of forming a multilayer coating film which is excellent in brilliant feeling, is high-chroma as a whole and exhibits superior deepness feeling.SOLUTION: A multilayer coating film formation method is a method for forming a multilayer coating film by successively applying a first color-base coating material, a second color-base coating material and a clear coating material with a wet-on-wet process on a substrate. Therein, the first color-base coating material contains a scaly brilliant pigment, has a lightness L* value in the L*a*b* colorimetric system calculated from reflectances measured by a spectral colorimeter (a mode besides regular reflection light) of an integrating sphere type of a cured coating film having a thickness of 10 μm, of 60 to 80, and the second color-base coating material contains a colored pigment, has an average light transmittance at wavelength 400 to 700 nm of the cured coating film having a thickness of 10 μm, in the range of 10 to 30%, has a chroma C* in the L*C*h colorimetric system calculated from spectral reflectances when receiving light applied from an angle of 45° of the multilayer coating film at an angle of 45° with respect to the regular reflection light, of 50 or more and has a C*/L*, of 2.2 or more.SELECTED DRAWING: None
【課題】光輝感に優れ、全体に高彩度で深み感に優れた複層塗膜が形成できる複層塗膜形成方法を提供する。【解決手段】基材上に第1カラーベース塗料、第2カラーベース塗料、及びクリヤー塗料をウエットオンウエットで順次塗装して複層塗膜を形成する方法であって、第1カラーベース塗料が、鱗片状光輝性顔料を含み、厚さ10μmの硬化塗膜の積分球型の分光測色計(正反射光を除くモード)にて測定した反射率から計算されたL*a*b*表色系における明度L*値が60〜80であり、第2カラーベース塗料が、着色顔料を含み、厚さ10μmの硬化塗膜の波長400〜700nmにおける平均光線透過率が10〜30%の範囲であり、且つ複層塗膜の45度の角度から照射した光を正反射光に対して45度の角度で受光した分光反射率から計算されたL*C*h表色系における彩度C*が50以上で且つC*/L*が2.2以上であることを特徴とする複層塗膜形成方法。【選択図】なし |
