Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inkjet printing paper which has a texture similar to that of a general printing paper, has high ink absorbency while being inexpensive and is suitable for on-demand printing.SOLUTION: There is provided an inkjet printing paper in which an ink absorption layer containing a pigment and a binder is provided on at least one surface of a base paper comprising pulp as a main component, wherein the binder contains a styrene-butadiene latex, 10 to 80 mass% of the pigment is light calcium carbonate and the ink absorption layer does not contain a cationic ink fixing agent and has a BET specific surface area of 9 m/g or more.SELECTED DRAWING: None 【課題】一般印刷用紙と同程度の風合いを有し、安価でありながら、インク吸収性が高く、オンデマンド印刷に好適なインクジェット印刷用紙を提供すること。【解決手段】本発明は、パルプを主成分とする基紙の少なくとも一方の面に顔料とバインダーとを含有するインク吸収層を設け、前記バインダーにはスチレン−ブタジエンラテックスを含み、前記顔料の１０〜８０質量％が軽質炭酸カルシウムであり、前記インク吸収層がカチオン性インク定着剤を含まず、ＢＥＴ比表面積が９ｍ２／ｇ以上であるインクジェット印刷用紙に関する。【選択図】なし
