PAPER CURRENCY HANDLING APPARATUS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a paper currency handling apparatus capable of inverting a paper currency upside down while reducing the size of the apparatus.SOLUTION: The paper currency handling apparatus includes: a reception part to which paper currencies are placed; a determination section that determines the kind, front/rear side and serial number of the paper currencies; a transport unit that repeats feeding operation of paper currencies from the reception part to the determination section, transportation of paper currencies which are determined by the determination section as the identical kind of money and the front/rear state is in a first state, to a predetermined conveyance destination, and transportation of the other paper currencies to the reception part; a storage unit that stores serial number and kind of money, with respect to the other paper currencies, which are determined by the determination section; and a control unit that makes a reference to the storage unit, and when determines that all paper currencies of the first kind money in the other paper currencies has been transported to the predetermined conveyance destination, controls the transport unit to terminate the feeding operation of paper currencies from the reception part to the determination section.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4 【課題】装置の小型化を実現しつつ、紙幣の表裏を反転させることが可能な紙幣処理装置を提供する。【解決手段】紙幣が投入される接客部と、紙幣の金種、表裏状態および記番号を判定する判定部と、前記接客部から前記判定部への紙幣の繰出し、金種が第１の金種であり、かつ、表裏が第１の状態であると前記判定部により判定された紙幣の所定の搬送先への搬送、および他の紙幣の前記接客部への搬送を繰り返す搬送部と、前記他の紙幣について前記判定部により判定された記番号および金種を記憶する記憶部と、前記記憶部を参照し、前記他の紙幣のうちで金種が前記第１の金種である紙幣が全て前記所定の搬送先へ搬送されたと判断すると、前記接客部から前記判定部への紙幣の繰出しを前記搬送部に停止させる制御部と、を備える、紙幣処理装置。【選択図】図４
