Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a braided yarn having a large friction coefficient and suitably used as a fishing line or a raw yarn of a fabric.SOLUTION: The braided yarn is formed by combining a plurality of covering yarns in which a core yarn composed of multi-filaments of ultra high molecular weight polyethylene is covered with a sheath yarn composed of polyamide multi-filaments or polyester multi-filaments. The ratio of areas where the sheath yarns exist on a surface of the braided yarn is preferably 60-100%. The mass ratio (core/sheath) of the core yarns to the sheath yarns is preferably 0.2-5.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 【課題】摩擦係数が大きく、釣糸や布帛の原糸として好適に用いられる製紐糸を提供する。【解決手段】超高分子量ポリエチレンマルチフィラメントからなる芯糸をポリアミドマルチフィラメント又はポリエステルマルチフィラメントからなる鞘糸で覆ったカバリング糸を複数本組み合わせてなることを特徴とする製紐糸。このとき、製紐糸の表面に鞘糸が存在する面積割合が６０〜１００％であることが好ましい。芯糸と鞘糸の質量比（芯／鞘）が０．２〜５であることも好ましい。【選択図】図１
