PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To project a cutting blade from an opening and operate a presser foot assembly so as to continuously press an object in a second direction orthogonal to a first direction when a cutting tool moves along the first direction and cuts the object.SOLUTION: A cutting tool 100 includes: a cylindrical section 102; a presser foot assembly 106; a spring 108; and a blade assembly 110. The cylindrical section includes a small outer diameter section 102A and a large outer diameter section 102B. The presser foot assembly is slidably fitted into the outside of the small outer diameter section and has an opening 136 at one end. The spring is fitted into the outside of the small outer diameter section. One end of the spring abuts on an abutting surface 102C at the boundary between the small outer diameter section and the large diameter section and the other end abuts on the presser foot assembly. The blade assembly slidably passes through the cylindrical section and the presser foot assembly. The blade assembly includes an adjustment rod 112, a blade holder 114 and a blade 116.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 【課題】切断工具が第１の方向に沿って移動し対象物を切断するとき、切断ブレードを開口部から突出させると共に、押え足アセンブリを、第１の方向と直交する第２の方向に対象物を押圧し続けるように動作させる。【解決手段】切断工具１００は、筒部１０２と、押え足アセンブリ１０６と、バネ１０８と、ブレードアセンブリ１１０とを備える。筒部は小外径部１０２Ａ及び大外径部１０２Ｂを含む。押え足アセンブリは、小外径部の外側にスライド可能に嵌められると共に、一端に開口部１３６を有する。バネは小外径部の外側に嵌められる。バネの一端は小外径部と大外径部との境界の当接面１０２Ｃと当接し、他端は押え足アセンブリに当接する。ブレードアセンブリは、筒部及び押え足アセンブリをスライド可能に貫通する。ブレードアセンブリは、調整棒１１２、ブレードホルダー１１４及びブレード１１６を備える。【選択図】図２
