Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an on-vehicle device and a method for managing probe information in which even when a plurality of service providers separately install roadside machines, and an erasure request is generated from each roadside machine, probe information can be appropriately supplied to the plurality of service providers.SOLUTION: An on-vehicle device configured as an on-vehicle device mounted on a vehicle includes: a communication part for communicating with a roadside machine; information acquisition means for acquiring identification information for specifying a service provider associated with the roadside machine from communication information with the roadside machine; a storage part for storing probe information including information related to the traveling of the vehicle; a transmission processing part for allowing the communication part to transmit the probe information stored in the storage part to the roadside machine; and a data management part for allowing the storage part to store the probe information, and for, when an erasure request of the probe information is made from the roadside machine, performing the data operation of the probe information stored in the storage part in accordance with the specific result of the service provider based on the identification information.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7 【課題】複数のサービス事業者が別々に路側機を設置して、各々から消去要求が生じる場合でも、プローブ情報を複数のサービス事業者に適切に供給できる車載装置およびプローブ情報の管理方法を提供すること。【解決手段】車載装置は、車両に搭載される車載装置であって、路側機と通信を行う通信部と、路側機との通信情報から路側機に対応付けられたサービス事業者を特定可能な識別情報を取得する情報取得手段と、車両の走行に関する情報を含んだプローブ情報が蓄積される記憶部と、記憶部に蓄積されたプローブ情報を通信部により路側機に送信させる送信処理部と、記憶部にプローブ情報を蓄積させ、路側機からプローブ情報の消去要求があった場合に、識別情報に基づくサービス事業者の特定結果に応じて、記憶部に蓄積されたプローブ情報のデータ操作を行うデータ管理部と、を備える構成とする。【選択図】図7
