PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent interference, in an image forming apparatus that forms an image on a recording material having a length in a conveyance direction longer than a conveyance module, the interference between an apparatus body and the recording material in drawing the conveyance module from the apparatus body.SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus 2 includes: a conveyance module 100 that is provided drawably from an apparatus body and on which a continuous form having toner images transferred thereto is conveyed; a fixing device 30 that is provided in the conveyance module 100, has a fixing roll 31 and a pressure roll 32, and fixes the toner images to the continuous form by the fixing roll 31 rotating in a first direction; a secondary transfer roll 24 that is provided in the conveyance module 100 and rotates in a second direction to convey the continuous form to the fixing device 30; and a control part that rotates the fixing roll 31 in the direction reverse to the first direction after the continuous form is cut at both ends of the conveyance module 100 and rotates the secondary transfer roll 24 in the same direction as the second direction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4 【課題】搬送方向長さが搬送モジュールよりも長い記録材に画像を形成する画像形成装置において、搬送モジュールを装置本体から引き出す際に、装置本体と記録材との干渉を防ぐ。【解決手段】画像形成装置２は、装置本体に対して引き出し可能に設けられトナー像が転写された連続紙が搬送される搬送モジュール１００と、搬送モジュール１００に設けられ、定着ロール３１と加圧ロール３２とを有し、定着ロール３１が第１方向に回転することで連続紙にトナー像を定着させる定着装置３０と、搬送モジュール１００に設けられ、第２方向に回転することで連続紙を定着装置３０に搬送する二次転写ロール２４と、搬送モジュール１００の両端で連続紙が切断された後に、定着ロール３１を第１方向とは反対方向に回転させ、二次転写ロール２４を第２方向と同じ方向に回転させる制御部とを備える。【選択図】図４
