Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a front fork which significantly reduces air reaching an oil seal to make air leakage unlikely to occur even when an oil seal is damaged.SOLUTION: A front fork includes: a fork body 3 including an outer tube 1 and an inner tube 2 which is inserted into the outer tube 1 so as to move in an axial direction; an air spring which is formed by enclosing air in the form body 3 and biases the fork body 3 in an extension direction; an annular oil seal 4 which is fixed to an inner periphery of an opening end part of the outer tuber 1 and slidably contacts with an outer periphery of the inner tube 2; a washer 5 which is provided at the axial inner side relative to the oil seal 4 at an inner periphery of the outer tube 1; an annular bearing 6 which is provided at a position located at the axial inner side relative to the washer 5 at the inner periphery of the outer tube 1 and separated from the washer 5 and slidably contacts with the outer periphery of the inner tube 2; and an oil reservoir chamber O provided between the washer 5 and the bearing 6 in a gap S between the outer tube 1 and the inner tube 2 and storing a working fluid.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 【課題】オイルシールに到達するエアを大幅に減少させ、オイルシールが破損してもエア漏れが発生しにくいフロントフォークを提供する。【解決手段】アウターチューブ1と、アウターチューブ1内に軸方向移動自在に挿入されるインナーチューブ2を備えたフォーク本体3と、フォーク本体3内にエアを封入して形成されるフォーク本体3を伸長方向へ附勢するエアばねと、アウターチューブ1の開口端部内周に固定され、インナーチューブ2外周に摺接する環状のオイルシール4と、アウターチューブ1内周のオイルシール4より軸方向の内側に設けられるワッシャ5と、アウターチューブ1内周のワッシャ5より軸方向の内側であって、ワッシャ5に離間した位置に設けられて、インナーチューブ2外周に摺接する環状の軸受6と、アウターチューブ1とインナーチューブ2の隙間Sに、ワッシャ5と軸受6の間に設けられて作動油が貯留される油溜室Oとを備えること。【選択図】図1
