PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable terminal device such that an object displayed at an end of a display can be easily selected.SOLUTION: A smart phone 1 detects itself being gripped by a user. The smart phone 1 displays an icon 201 at a first display position of a display. The smart phone 1 detects a finger or stylus pen being closer to a bezel 10 of the smart phone 1.
