PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve safety more.SOLUTION: A laser radar device comprises: a light projecting unit projecting light for a monitoring area outside of a car; a light receiving unit receiving reflected light that the light projected by the light projecting unit is reflected by an object in the monitoring area; an object detecting unit generating intensity distribution in a horizontal direction of the monitoring area and range information to the object based on a light receiving signal supplied from the light receiving unit; an object recognition unit determining whether the object is an obstruction on the basis of the intensity distribution and range information supplied from the object detecting unit; and a determination processing unit making at least one of controls activating alarm or activating auto emergency brake execute based on the determination result of the object recognition unit.
