Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a center porosity-reduced cast piece reducing the center porosity by surely crushing the slab-shaped cast pieces.SOLUTION: There is provided a cast piece having the ratio (D/W) of a casting thickness D to a casting width W of 0.1-0.6 and the casting thickness of 390-800 mm. A first wide reduction recessed part 2, and a second narrow reduction recessed part 3 formed by further reducing the surface of the first reduction recessed part 2 are formed on a long side surface in at least one side of the cast piece. Such two stage reduction makes it possible to control the maximum porosity volume of the cast piece to 1.5×10cm/g or less.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 【課題】スラブ形状の鋳片を確実に押し潰してセンターポロシティを減少させたセンターポロシティ低減鋳片を提供する。【解決手段】鋳造厚Dと鋳造幅Wの比(D/W)が0.1〜0.6、鋳造厚Dが390〜800mmの鋳片である。その少なくとも片側の長辺表面に、幅広の第1圧下凹部2と、この第1圧下凹部1の表面を更に圧下して形成された幅狭の第2圧下凹部3とが形成されている。この2段階の圧下によって、鋳片の最大ポロシティ体積を1.5×10−4cm3/g以下とすることができる。【選択図】図1
