Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for stably producing high-purity magnesium hydride without requiring high-pressure high-temperature conditions and without uncontrollable generation of heat.SOLUTION: A method for production of magnesium hydride comprises the steps of crushing metal magnesium powder and a catalytic amount of niobium pentaoxide powder in inactive organic solvent, and heating the crushed product up to 200-450°C in an atmosphere of hydrogen gas.SELECTED DRAWING: None 【課題】高圧高温の条件を必要とせず、制御不能となるような発熱を伴うことなく、高純度の水素化マグネシウムを安定して製造する方法の提供。【解決手段】金属マグネシウム粉末及び触媒量の五酸化ニオブ粉末を不活性有機溶媒中で粉砕する工程と、該粉砕物を水素ガス雰囲気下200〜450℃に加熱する工程とを有することを特徴とする水素化マグネシウムの製造法。【選択図】なし
