Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat-sensitive transfer recording medium which corresponds to such requirements as speedup of printing speed of thermal transfer and high density and high quality of a thermal transfer image, prevents the occurrence of abnormal transfer and is improved in transfer sensitivity in printing.SOLUTION: There is provided a heat-sensitive transfer recording medium 1 which comprises a heat-resistant lubricative layer 40 on one surface of a substrate 10 and an undercoat layer 20 and a dye layer 30 in this order on the other surface of the substrate 10, wherein the undercoat layer 20 comprises: a copolymer between a polyester having a sulfonic acid group and an acryl having at least one of a glycidyl group and a carboxyl group; and a polyvinyl pyrrolidone and the undercoat layer 20 has a storage modulus G' at 100°C of 1.0E+06 N/mor more.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 【課題】熱転写の印画速度の高速化や、熱転写画像の高濃度、高品質の要求に対応し、異常転写の発生を防止し、印画における転写感度を向上した感熱転写記録媒体を提供する。【解決手段】本願発明に係る感熱転写記録媒体1は、基材10の一方の面に耐熱滑性層40を備え、基材10の他方の面に下引き層20、染料層30をこの順に備えた感熱転写記録媒体であって、下引き層20は、スルホン酸基を有するポリエステルとグリシジル基及びカルボキシル基の少なくとも一方を有するアクリルとの共重合体、及びポリビニルピロリドンを含み、下引き層20の100℃における貯蔵弾性率G′は、1.0E+06N/m2以上となっている。【選択図】図1
