Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve workability on a job site for connecting power cables with each other and to improve productivity and reliability of a power cable connection part.SOLUTION: A power cable connection device 1 includes: an insulation cylinder 10 which is mounted in a conductor connection part where conductors 32 of power cables 30 are connected with each other; an electrical shield layer 12 which is applied at an outer peripheral side of the insulation cylinder; and a protection tube 14 which is applied at an outer peripheral side of the electrical shield layer. The insulation cylinder receives a connection end portion 30a of one power cable that is inserted from one end opening m1, and receives a connection end portion of another power cable that is inserted from another end opening m2, such that the conductors of both the power cables can be connected with each other within a hollow part. A front end portion 40a of an insertion jig 40 (140 and 240) is inserted into the insulation cylinder and for insertion and connection work of the power cables, a rear end portion of the insertion jig is functioned as a holding part.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 【課題】電力ケーブル同士の接続施工現場における作業性を向上することができるとともに、電力ケーブル接続部の生産性、信頼性を向上する。【解決手段】電力ケーブル接続装置1は、電力ケーブル30の導体32同士を接続した導体接続部に装着される絶縁筒体10と、絶縁筒体の外周側に施された電気的遮蔽層12と、電気的遮蔽層の外周側に施された保護管14とを備える。絶縁筒体は一端開口m1から挿入される一の電力ケーブルの接続端部30aを受け容れ、他端開口m2から挿入される他の電力ケーブルの接続端部を受け容れて、この両者の導体同士を中空部内で接続可能に構成されている。挿入治具40(140,240)の先端部40aが絶縁筒体に挿入されており、電力ケーブルの挿入、接続作業のために、挿入治具の後端部が把持部として機能する。【選択図】図2
