PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To avoid the restriction of a communication speed on a communication network when reproducing a video image.SOLUTION: A video reproduction device is configured to receive a video image over a communication network where the communication speed is restricted in the case where a communication traffic volume within a unit period exceeds a predetermined volume.
