HEATING DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heating device capable of evenly heating an incomplete combustion component from a main body furnace at an afterburner part and surely burning the same, surely suppressing or reducing generation of harmful exhaust gas, and being structurally simplified.SOLUTION: A heating device 1, which heats exhaust gas exhausted from a main body furnace 100 for heating a work 200 stored therein, and meanwhile, guides the same to the outside of the main body furnace, includes a flow passage 20 that guides the exhaust gas to the outside of the main body furnace, and heating means 30 that heats inside the flow passage. The flow passage 20 includes: a vertical flow passage arranged along the vertical direction of the main body furnace 100 so as to guide the exhaust gas from the upstream on the main body furnace side toward the downstream on the outside of the main body furnace; and a horizontal flow passage which communicates to the downstream side of the vertical flow passage and is arranged along the horizontal direction intersecting the vertical direction of the main body furnace 100.
