Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotary kiln in which heat treatment is promoted by staying storage objects to be treated in the kiln.SOLUTION: An internal space of a rotary kiln 1 is divided into a plurality of sections in its length direction (axial direction). A tapers 25, 29 for guiding a storage object stored thereinside by rotation of the rotary kiln 1 to any of one end side and the other end side of the rotary kiln 1, and a separator are arranged in the sections.
