Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hemostatic cap for a catheter with a novel structure for favorably preventing or suppressing leakage of blood to the outside through a gap between a guide wire lumen and a guide wire by a simple structure, a catheter with a hemostatic cap using the same, and a catheter system using them and the guide wire.SOLUTION: A hemostatic cap is equipped with an insertion passage into which a guide wire 14 can be inserted. A connector hub connection port 66 connected to a proximal end side opening part of an inner passage 38 of a connector hub 22 is provided at one opening end part of the insertion passage 65, and a wire lead-out port 70 where the guide wire 14 is led out is provided at the other opening end part of the insertion passage 65. A narrow part 68 which is positioned between the connector hub connection port 66 and the wire lead-out port 70 and has a cross-section area smaller than them is provided in the insertion passage 65. The dimension of an inner diameter of the narrow part 68 is set at 0.26 to 0.46 mm, and the dimension of a length is set at 0.1 to 100 mm.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
【課題】ガイドワイヤルーメンとガイドワイヤの間の隙間を通じた血液の外部への漏れ出しを簡単な構造で有利に防止乃至は抑制することができる、新規な構造のカテーテル用の止血キャップおよびそれを用いた止血キャップ付カテーテルやそれらとガイドワイヤを用いたカテーテルシステムを提供すること。【解決手段】ガイドワイヤ14を挿通可能な挿通通路を備え、挿通通路65の一方の開口端部に、コネクタハブ22の内部通路38の基端側開口部に接続されるコネクタハブ接続口66が設けられている一方、挿通通路65の他方の開口端部に、ガイドワイヤ14が導出されるワイヤ導出口70と、が設けられており、挿通通路65には、コネクタハブ接続口66とワイヤ導出口70の間に位置して、それらよりも断面積が小さくされた狭窄部68が設けられており、狭窄部68の内径寸法が0.26〜0.46mmで且つ長さ寸法が0.1〜100mmに設定されるようにした。【選択図】図2 |
