Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide: a composition, by which the swelling of a blanket by a coating solution in a reverse printing method can be avoided; a method for manufacturing a film by use of such a composition; a film manufactured by the method; and an organic thin film transistor having an insulator layer composed of the film.SOLUTION: A composition comprises: an alcohol soluble polymer compound (A) having a group expressed by -OR; a compound (B) which decomposes to produce acid when being irradiated with electromagnetic waves or an electron beam or heated; and a compound (C) which reacts with two or more hydroxyl groups in the presence of acid, whereby an intermolecular crosslink structure of the alcohol soluble polymer compound (A) can be formed. [R represents a monovalent organic group which is desorbed by acid; if there are two or more R's, they may be identical to each other or not.]SELECTED DRAWING: None
