Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image formation device that can simultaneously solve problems of an edge surface contamination when a rear end of a recording medium passes through a conveyance guide plate, a location deviation of the recording medium due to a warp of the conveyance guide plate, and charge of the recording medium thanks to rubbing of the recording medium with the conveyance guide plate.SOLUTION: A conveyance guide plate 44 conveying a sheet to a secondary transfer nip part where a secondary transfer roller 21 abuts on an intermediate transfer belt 10 is formed of an electric zinc plating steel sheet, and is grounded. An upstream part 44a of the conveyance guide plate 44 parallely extends to a surface of the intermediate transfer belt 10, and an end part 44b thereof on a downstream side is folded in a direction separating from the intermediate transfer belt 10. Thus, toner 50 of the intermediate transfer belt 10 adheres to the upstream part 44a, and is hard to adhere to the downstream end part 44b and an end surface 44b-1. Even when a rear end of the sheet jumps like rubbing the end surface 44b-1 upon passing through the conveyance guide plate 44, the toner is not adhered, so that an edge surface contamination is not caused.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 【課題】記録媒体の後端が搬送ガイド板を抜ける際のコバ面汚れと、搬送ガイド板の撓みによる記録媒体の位置ずれと、記録媒体が搬送ガイド板と擦れ合うことによる記録媒体の帯電の問題を同時に解消できる画像形成装置を提供する。【解決手段】用紙を2次転写ローラ21と中間転写ベルト10が当接する2次転写ニップ部に搬送する搬送ガイド板44は電気亜鉛めっき鋼板からなり、接地されている。搬送ガイド板44の上流部44aは中間転写ベルト10の表面に平行に延びており、下流側端部44bは中間転写ベルト10から離れる方向に曲げられている。これにより、中間転写ベルト10のトナー50は上流部44aに付着し、下流側端部44b及び端面44b−1には付着しにくい。用紙の後端が搬送ガイド板44を抜ける際に端面44b−1を擦るように跳ねても、トナーが付着していないため、用紙のコバ面汚れは生じない。【選択図】図2
