Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric air blower whose internal heating can be more efficiently cooled, thereby enhancing the efficiency of the air blower and implementing compact and light design of the main body of the air blower.SOLUTION: An electric air blower includes: a field magnet having a field magnet coil; an armature having an armature coil; a frame for holding the field magnet; a bracket fixed to the opening of the frame; a fan secured to a rotating shaft; and a cooling plate disposed between the opening of the frame and the bracket. A center opening is provided at the center of the cooling plate, and a gap is provided between the outer edge of the cooling plate and the inner diameter of the opening of the frame. When the area of the center opening is represented by S1 and the total area of the gap is represented by S2, the area ratio RS represented by S2/(S1+S2) is set in the range from 0.02 to 0.15.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4 【課題】電動送風機の内部発熱をさらに効率的に冷却することで送風機効率を向上させ、本体の小型軽量化をはかる。【解決手段】本電動送風機は、界磁巻線を有する界磁と、電機子巻線を有する電機子と、界磁を保持するフレームと、フレームの開口に固定されるブラケットと、回転軸に取り付けられたファンと、フレームの開口とブラケットの間に配置された冷却板とを備える。そして、冷却板の中央に中央開口を設け、冷却板の外縁とフレームの開口の内径との間に隙間を設け、中央開口の面積をS1とし、隙間の合計面積をS2としたとき、S2/(S1+S2)で表される面積比率RSを0.02〜0.15の範囲内とした。【選択図】図4
