HUMANIZED ANTIBODIES SPECIFIC TO PROTOFIBRILLAR FORM OF -AMYLOID PEPTIDE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide humanized antibodies specific to the protofibrillar form of the -amyloid peptide, and the use of the antibodies in the field of Alzheimer's disease.SOLUTION: The present invention relates to an antibody which binds to the A- peptides aggregated into senile plaques and not to the diffuse deposits of A- peptides and whose affinity for the protofibrillar form of the peptide A- is at least 100 times greater than its affinity for the other forms of this peptide.
