DIAGNOSTIC ANTIBODY ASSAY

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide novel diagnostic assays for the diagnosis of amyloidosis, in particular Alzheimer's disease, and related aspects.SOLUTION: There is provided a humanized antibody, a chimeric antibody, a single chain antibody or a diabody of the antibody, which is produced from hybridoma cell lines selected from A 5-5-6 (ACC2923), A 6-1-6 (ACC2924), A 17-4-3 (ACC2925), or A 24-2-3 (ACC2926) and can bind to an A peptide selected from among pGlu-A 3-38, pGlu-A 3-40, pGlu-A 3-42, or pGlu-A 3-x (x is an integer between 10 and 42).
