Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the amount of light leaking from an outer peripheral end face of a light transmissible board in a display in which a light emission element is disposed on the principal surface of the light transmissible board.SOLUTION: A display 10 has a light transmissible board 11, a conductive layer 13 formed on the principal surface 111 of the light transmissible board 11, a barrier insulation layer 14 formed in an area other than an area in which a light emission element portion 30 on the conductive layer 13 is formed, an organic EL layer 15 formed on the conductive layer 13 and the barrier insulation layer 14, a conductive layer 16 formed on the organic EL layer 15, a resin sealing layer 17 formed on the conductive layer 16, and a confronting board 18 disposed on the resin sealing layer 17 so as to confront the light transmissible board 11. A reflection film 12 for reflecting light which propagates from the inside of the light transmissible board 11 to an outer peripheral end face 112 of the light transmissible board 11 is disposed on the end face. The reflection film 12 is electrically connected to the edge of the conductive layer 13 and forms a part of a current path extending from a positive electrode terminal portion 13c to the light emission element portion 30.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 【課題】透光性基板の主面上に発光素子が配されたディスプレイにおいて、透光性基板の外周端面から漏れる光量を低減する。【解決手段】ディスプレイ10は、透光性基板11と、その主面111上に形成された導電層13と、導電層13上における発光素子部30が形成される領域以外の領域に形成された隔壁絶縁層14と、導電層13及び隔壁絶縁層14の上に形成された有機EL層15と、有機EL層15の上に形成された導電層16と、導電層16の上に形成された樹脂封止層17と、樹脂封止層17の上に透光性基板11と対向して配置された対向基板18とを備える。透光性基板11の外周端面112には、透光性基板11の内側から当該端面に向けて伝播される光を反射する反射膜12が配されている。反射膜12は、導電層13の縁に電気接続されて、正極端子部13cから発光素子部30に到る電流経路の一部を形成する。【選択図】図3
