PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information processing apparatus configured to properly erase a desired line in handwriting input.SOLUTION: An information processing apparatus includes a CPU. When a user handwrites a character or the like on a touch panel 20 with a pen 120, a handwritten image corresponding to the handwritten character is displayed on a display 22. When the user touches an eraser button 104, an erase mode selection menu 200 is displayed as a pull-down menu. In the erase mode selection menu, a selection mode is selected, and a line to be deleted is selected. The selected line blinks, and a delete-confirmation menu 202 is displayed.
