Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress breaking of a seal member due to a torsional load applied.SOLUTION: An expansion joint for a road bridge includes: a corrugated plate 1 bent in a zigzag shape and extending in a longer-side direction of a joint of a road bridge; a horizontal plate 2 having a concave-convex part at an edge corresponding to a concave part and a convex part of the corrugated plate 1 and forming a joint gap 3 between the corrugated plate 1 and the horizontal plate; a first support member 7 installed on the corrugated plate 1 and having a first vertical plate 7a that extends linearly connecting adjacent convex parts of the corrugated plate 1 over the concave part of the corrugated plate 1, on a side below the horizontal plate 2; a second support member 19 installed below the horizontal plate 2 and having a second vertical plate 19a that linearly extends opposite the first vertical plate 7a; and a groove-form seal member 4 having an end 4a fixed on the first vertical plate 7a and the other end 4b fixed on the second vertical plate 19a.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 【課題】ねじり負荷を受けることによりシール部材が破損するのを抑制する。【解決手段】道路橋の継目長手方向にジグザグに曲折して延びる波形板1と、波形板1の凹部および凸部に対応する凹凸部を先端に有し、波形板1との間に波形の遊間3を形成する横板2と、波形板1に設けられ、横板2よりも下側において波形板1の凹部を跨いで波形板1の相隣る凸部を結ぶように直線的に延びる第1縦板7aを有する第1支持部材7と、横板2の下方に設けられ、第1縦板7aと対向するように直線的に延びる第2縦板19aを有する第2支持部材19と、一端部4aが第1縦板7aに固定されかつ他端部4bが第2縦板19aに固定された溝形状のシール部材4とを備えている。【選択図】図2
