Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of removing hydrochloric acid, from a product comprising trifluoroethylene and hydrochloric acid, without generating hazardous substance, and thus purifying trifluoroethylene.SOLUTION: A method of purifying trifluoroethylene has a step of bringing a gas composition comprising trifluoroethylene and hydrochloric acid into contact with an acid component removal liquid with an alkali concentration of 40 mass% or less to remove the hydrochloric acid.
