PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reflect a changed setting to an apparatus more efficiently.SOLUTION: In a setting device, an inspection unit 102 calculates and associates an error detection code for each of a plurality of blocks of a setting file stored in a setting file storage unit 101. A comparison unit 104 compares the error detection code calculated by the inspection unit 102 with a detection code acquired by an error detection code acquisition unit 103, which correspond to the same block, and detects a block having a different error code.
