VIDEO MONITORING SYSTEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a video monitoring system which allows a user to perform more smooth switching operation of a monitoring video display screen from the operation screen of an operation terminal.SOLUTION: An operation terminal performs control for displaying, on a display, a line change screen having a main line selection button for connecting with a main line, and a reserved line selection button for connecting with a reserved line, a main line monitoring screen for displaying the video from a monitoring camera transmitted via the main line, by selection operation of the main line selection button on the line change screen, a reserved line monitoring screen for displaying the video from a monitoring camera transmitted via the reserved line, by selection operation of the reserved line selection button on the line change screen. When failure of the main line is detected from line state monitoring means, while displaying the main line monitoring screen on the display, automatic transition is made from the main line monitoring screen to the line change screen, thus notifying the failure of the main line on the display. 【課題】操作者が操作端末の操作画面から、よりスムーズに監視映像表示画面の切替操作を行うことが可能な映像監視システムを提供する。【解決手段】操作端末は、主回線に接続するための主回線用選択ボタンおよび予備回線に接続するための予備回線用選択ボタンを有する回線切替画面と、回線切替画面の主回線用選択ボタンの選択操作で、主回線を介して送信された監視カメラからの映像を表示する主回線用監視画面と、回線切替画面の予備回線用選択ボタンの選択操作で、予備回線を介して送信された監視カメラからの映像を表示する予備回線用監視画面と、を表示部に表示する制御を行う。表示部に主回線用監視画面を表示している時に、回線状態監視手段から主回線の障害を検知した場合、主回線用監視画面から回線切替画面への自動遷移を行い、主回線の障害を表示部上で通知する。【選択図】図１
