PRESS-FIT TERMINAL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a press-fit terminal capable of alleviating a stress acted between an elastic part and a through hole without requiring a press fitting jig with a configuration for drawing the press-fit terminal from a front end side.SOLUTION: A press-fit terminal is provided with a coupling part 23 for coupling a front end part 21 and a base end part 22 with each other so that a base end side end surface 21a of the front end part 21 having an elastic part 24 and a front end side end surface 22a of the base end part 22 are opposed to each other via a clearance C in a press fitting direction. This coupling part 23 is elastically deformed so that the base end side end surface 21a and the front end side end surface 22a contacted each other depending on a pressing force F. 【課題】先端側から引き込む構成の圧入用治具を必要とすることなく弾性部とスルーホールとの間に作用する応力を緩和し得るプレスフィット端子を提供する。【解決手段】弾性部２４を有する先端部２１の基端側端面２１ａと基端部２２の先端側端面２２ａとが圧入方向にて隙間Ｃを介して対向するように先端部２１および基端部２２を連結する連結部２３が設けられており、この連結部２３は、上記押圧力Ｆに応じて基端側端面２１ａと先端側端面２２ａとが接触するように弾性変形する。【選択図】図５
