STORAGE CONTAINER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a storage container as a storage container foldable by bending a lateral wall, being more easily folded owing to a slit which is provided on the lateral wall to be a starting point when folding.SOLUTION: A storage container 1 attached to a vehicle cabin and capable of being folded includes: a bottom wall 4 comprising a bottom of the storage container 1 in a usage state; an anterior wall 2 and a posterior wall 3 raised relative to the bottom wall 4 when the storage container 1 is in a usage state, and forming a corner of the storage container 1 together with the bottom wall 4; and a lateral wall 5 arranged between the side end parts of each of the anterior wall 2, the posterior wall 3 and the bottom wall 4, and folded by being bent when folding the storage container 1. The lateral wall 5 has a resin plate 72 formed with a slit 75 to be a folding starting point, and when the storage container 1 is in a usage state, the slit 75 extends to the corner, and an area which lacks the resin plate 72 is formed in part or the whole of the corner. 【課題】側壁を折り曲げることで折り畳まれる収納容器として、折り畳み時の起点となるスリットを側壁に設けたときに、当該スリットの関係でより折り畳み易い収納容器を提供する。【解決手段】車室内に取り付けられ折り畳み可能な収納容器１は、使用状態にある収納容器１の底部をなす底壁４と、収納容器１が使用状態にあるときに底壁４に対して起き上がり底壁４とともに収納容器１の角部を形成する前壁２及び後壁３と、前壁２、後壁３及び底壁４のそれぞれの側端部の間に配置され収納容器１が折り畳まれるにあたり折れ曲がって畳まれる側壁５と、を備える。側壁５は、折れ曲がり起点となるスリット７５が形成された樹脂プレート７２を有し、収納容器１が使用状態にあるとき、スリット７５は、角部に向かって延出し、当該角部の一部又は全部には、樹脂プレート７２を欠く領域が形成されている。【選択図】図５
