PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable terminal device capable of more safely and more easily exchanging information by preventing the information from leaking to a third person beyond expectations.SOLUTION: A portable terminal device capable of performing human body communication with another portable terminal device through part of a contacting or nearby human body includes: reception means of receiving a first face image of a subject imaged by the other portable terminal device through the human body communication; storage means of storing a second face image of the user of the portable terminal device; authentication means of determining whether the subject is the user of the portable terminal device on the basis of the first face image and second face image; and user information transmission means of transmitting user information on the portable terminal device to the other portable terminal device through the human body communication on the basis of a determination result of the authentication means. 【課題】想定外の第三者に対する情報の漏洩を防止して、より安全かつ容易に情報を交換することが可能な携帯端末装置を提供する。【解決手段】接触または近接した人体の一部を介した人体通信を他の携帯端末装置と行なうことが可能な携帯端末装置は、人体通信によって、他の携帯端末装置により撮像された被写体の第１の顔画像を他の携帯端末装置から受信する受信手段と、携帯端末装置のユーザの第２の顔画像を記憶する記憶手段と、第１の顔画像と第２の顔画像とに基づいて、被写体が携帯端末装置のユーザであるか否かを判断する認証手段と、認証手段の判断結果に基づいて、人体通信によって携帯端末装置のユーザ情報を他の携帯端末装置に送信するユーザ情報送信手段とを備える。【選択図】図４
