Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To arrange a damper for absorbing the vibration of a power transmission system of a vehicle without causing interference with a peripheral vehicle-side member between a pair of universal joints on a drive shaft.SOLUTION: A drive shaft 10 comprises: a first universal joint 21 arranged at the other end of a first power transmission shaft 11 which is connected to a power source 2 at its one end; a second universal joint 22 arranged at the other end of a second power transmission shaft 12 which is connected to a drive wheel 28 at its one end; a third power transmission shaft 13 which extends toward the second universal joint 22 from the first universal joint 21; a fourth power transmission shaft 14 which extends toward the first universal joint 21 from the second universal joint 22; and a damper 30 which accommodates a shaft part 50 arranged at the other of the third and fourth power transmission shafts 13, 14 into a cylinder part 32 which is arranged at either of the third and fourth power transmission shafts 13, 14, and in which an elastic member 60 is interposed between the cylinder part 32 and the shaft part 50. A portion at the second universal joint 22 side rather than the elastic member 60 in the damper 30 is formed into a small-diameter part 36.
【課題】車両の動力伝達系の振動を吸収するためのダンパを、周辺の車体側部材に干渉することなく、ドライブシャフト上の一対の自在継手間に配置する。【解決手段】一端が動力源2に連結された第1動力伝達軸11の他端に設けられた第1自在継手21と、一端が駆動輪28に連結された第2動力伝達軸12の他端に設けられた第2自在継手22と、第1自在継手21から第2自在継手22に向かって延びる第3動力伝達軸13と、第2自在継手22から第1自在継手21に向かって延びる第4動力伝達軸14と、第3、第4動力伝達軸13,14のいずれか一方に設けられた筒部32内に第3、第4動力伝達軸13,14の他方に設けられた軸部50を収容すると共に、該筒部32と軸部50との間に弾性部材60を介在させてなるダンパ30と、を備えたドライブシャフト10において、ダンパ30における弾性部材60よりも第2自在継手22側の部分を小径部36とする。【選択図】図2 |
