Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a file which can be finely folded while inserting a document therein, and a file book.SOLUTION: A file 10 has a bottom side 12 made by folding a sheet body 11 made from a resin film, a welding portion 13 made by welding one side of the folded sheet body 11, and folds 14 and 15 extending in a generally parallel direction with the welding portion 13. Folds 14f and 15f of a sheet body 11a on a front side are provided at positions different from positions of folds 14g and 15g of a sheet body 11b on a back side. 【課題】書類を挟んだままきれいに折り畳むことができるファイル及びファイルブックを提供すること。【解決手段】樹脂フィルムよりなるシート体１１を折り返してなる底辺１２と、折り返されたシート体１１の一方の側辺を溶着してなる溶着部１３と、溶着部１３と略平行な方向に延びる折目１４、１５と、を有するファイル１０において、表側のシート体１１ａの折目１４ｆ、１５ｆを、裏側のシート体１１ｂの折目１４ｇ、１５ｇの位置と異なる位置に設ける。【選択図】図５
