Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a head unit which enables improvement of the workability of maintenance while inhibiting deflection of a support member supporting ink jet heads.SOLUTION: A head unit 21 includes: ink jet heads 21b, each of which includes an inlet 1b and an outlet 2b communicating with an ink passage and formed at an upper part of the ink jet head 21b and discharges an ink from a lower part; and a long support member 21c supporting the ink jet heads. A reinforcement part c2 is provided along a longitudinal direction of the support member on an upper surface of the support member. The ink jet heads are parallely arranged in two lines along the longitudinal direction so as to sandwich the reinforcement part. 【課題】複数のインクジェットヘッドを支持する支持部材の撓みを抑制しつつ、メンテナンスの作業性を向上させる。【解決手段】上部にインクの流路と連通されるインレットｂ１やアウトレットｂ２が形成されるとともに、下部からインクを吐出する複数のインクジェットヘッド２１ｂと、複数のインクジェットヘッドを支持する長尺な支持部材２１ｃと、を備えるヘッドユニット２１であって、支持部材の上面には、当該支持部材の長手方向に沿って補強部ｃ２が設けられるとともに、複数のインクジェットヘッドが補強部を挟むように長手方向に沿って二列並設されてなる。【選択図】図４
