PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thin film electrostatic coating apparatus which enables thin film electrostatic coating to be performed safely and enables simplification of the structure.SOLUTION: A thin film electrostatic coating apparatus includes: a conveyor device 10 capable of holding a web form base material 9 on a surface; a base material supply device which supplies the base material 9 to the upstream side of the conveyor device 10; a base material recovery device which recovers the base material 9 from the downstream side of the conveyor device 10; a housing 40 which encloses an intermediate part of the conveyor device 10 and extends along the conveyor device 10; a powder supply device 42 which supplies powder 6 from one end part of the housing 40 to the other end part; a fixation electrode 44 which is installed in the housing 40 and fixes the powder 6 to the base material 9 held on a surface of a conveyor belt 11; and a tensile force control device which controls a tensile force of the base material 9. 【課題】薄膜の静電塗装を安全に行え、かつ構成を簡素にできる薄膜静電塗装装置の提供。【解決手段】薄膜静電塗装装置は、ウェブ状の基材９を表面に保持可能なコンベア装置１０と、コンベア装置１０の上流側に基材９を供給する基材供給装置と、コンベア装置１０の下流側から基材９を回収する基材回収装置と、コンベア装置１０の中間部を包囲しかつコンベア装置１０に沿って延びるハウジング４０と、ハウジング４０の一方の端部から他方の端部へと粉体６を供給する粉体供給装置４２と、ハウジング４０内に設置されて粉体６をコンベアベルト１１の表面に保持された基材９に定着させる定着用電極４４と、基材９の張力を制御する張力制御装置とを有する。【選択図】図２
