Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dry-type barrel polishing method that does not need to apply an agent of corrosion inhibitor to workpiece after barrel polishing.SOLUTION: The workpiece and a mass containing a polishing medium are loaded in a barrel tank for barrel polishing. The polishing medium has a composition containing a resin so as to polish the workpiece and form an extremely thin resin film on the workpiece at the same time by causing a resin component contained in the polishing medium to adhere to a surface of the workpiece. Thus, this polishing method can impart very high-antirust function to the workpiece without affecting dimensional accuracy of the workpiece. 【課題】バレル研磨後の被加工物に薬剤の防錆剤を塗布する必要がない乾式のバレル研磨方法を提供する。【解決手段】被加工物及び研磨メディアを含むマスをバレル槽に装入してバレル研磨を行う。前記研磨メディアを、樹脂を含む構成とすることで、被加工物を研磨すると同時に、研磨メディアに含まれる樹脂成分を被加工物の表面に付着させて、極めて薄い樹脂の皮膜を形成する。このバレル研磨方法により、被加工物の寸法精度に影響を及ぼすことなく、非常に高い防錆機能を付与することができる。【選択図】図2
