PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nest-building prevention tool enabled to prevent a bird more reliably from building its next on an electric pole.SOLUTION: A nest-building prevention tool 1 comprises: a rod-like component 10 so attached to an electric pole as to extend vertically; and an obstruction part 20 having a plurality of rods 24 arranged at predetermined portions of the rod-like component 10 and extending obliquely upward from a predetermined portion. Even if a bird comes close to the electric pole, it is obstructed by the rods 24 extending obliquely upward, so that the bird finds it difficult to reach a nest building place at the electric pole. 【課題】鳥類が電柱に営巣することをより確実に防止することを可能にした営巣防止具を提供すること。【解決手段】営巣防止具１は、上下方向に延びるように、電柱に取り付けられる棒状部材１０と、棒状部材１０の所定部位に配置され、所定部位から斜め上方に向かって延びる複数のロッド２４を有する障害部２０と、を備え、鳥類が電柱に営巣するために近づいても、斜め上方に向かって延びる複数のロッド２４が障害となり、鳥類が電柱における営巣場所に到達することが困難になる。【選択図】図１
